Situated between two of Bali’s holiday hotspots, Legian offers a delightful balance between the often chaotic energy of Kuta Beach and the more sophisticated scene of Seminyak. Not more than half a kilometre long, the stretch of beach that Legian fronts is a popular tourist and holiday area with many value oriented and mid-range hotels located nearby. The beach is of course the main focus here, and the palm tree lined stretch of sand features excellent waves for surfing and swimming and plenty of space for sun baking.
Walk along the busy streets and visitors will find a wide array of shops in which to browse. From fashion and beach wear to art and handmade jewellery, there are many outlets in which to purchase souvenirs or hand-made goods. Another favourite past time in Legian is a massage and spa treatment. Enjoy the soothing, enriching qualities of a full beauty treatment at one of the deluxe spas or relax outdoors with a beachside massage or manicure while taking in the Indian Ocean view .
