Phuket is an island paradise where luxury hotels and private resorts are as much a part of the destination as the lush island itself. With such deluxe accommodation, you may never want to leave the confines of the property, and in some cases you never have to.
Whether it’s a lavish hotel along the beach or a secluded resort or private hut in the mountains overlooking the sea, visitors will find all the activities and the amenities they’re after. Hotels offer all the desired features from large swimming pools and Jacuzzis to restaurants, beach access and organised activities.
Resorts offer much of the same but in a more secluded fashion. For the ultimate getaway, some resorts even feature rooms or small apartments with their very own plunge poos, Jacuzzis and outdoor showers as well astheir own private beaches and restaurants.
Patong Beach is the most popular area for tourists and therefore the busiest, most crowded place to stay. Travel outside this area and the villages and beaches are much less crowded.
